Editor's Note: As I elaborated on the first page of the Sides Family Genealogy Website on FromAllSides.org, I often wondered about my grandfathers family from Alabama. To answer my questions and put my mind at rest, I flew to Alabama and met my grandfathers family. It was an amazing trip and a special thanks go out to Warren and Bonnie Sides for being wonderful hosts and taking me to the sites that would help answer my questions.

Back in February 2005, I had the privilege of meeting Jim Tom Sides (my 2nd cousin) from Fort Myers, FL and James Edward Sides (my 6th cousin) from Tampa, FL. The three of us worked hard at getting facts together to find out if we were related. The DNA Project helped us solve the mystery, we are definitley related.
